This is the story of a girl named Noa. In Rodney's eyes, she is the girl with an endless and rather contagious smile. When Rodney's brother arrives into town lacking his usual spirit, he grows concerned; but when things take a turn for the worst, Rodney's world as he knew it will suddenly begin to fall... Awards and Recognition: 1st place at Salinas' 3rd Annual High School Film Festival. 1st place at The 4th Annual Watsonville Film Festival in the Local Student Film Program. I know a lot of you have been waiting all summer for me to post this and I could name every excuse in the book as to why I waited until the end but it's most likely, probably not even worth the try. So let's just pretend it's been here all along. Alright? Okay? Thanks. I spent the entire beginning of 2013 focused on Noa's Jar; brainstorming in December, writing the script in January, filming in February and editing in March. The film festival took place on April 5, 2013 and all of the hard work (coughstresscough) turned out to be completely worth it. Noa's Jar is my third film ever, although it is my first film to ever receive the highest placement in the local high school film competition. This year (2013) Noa's Jar received 1st place in the 3rd Annual High School Film Festival and I could not be more honoured. Thank you to all of the actors, crew members, and just all of the people who provided the slightest contribution to the making of this film. I love you all.
